Camp May Doggie Daycare
Camp May is a unique doggie day camp located directly behind our May Veterinary Northridge location on Watermelon Road. Our doggie day camp provides both indoor and outdoor areas and consists of 37 runs, a bathing area, and two enclosed areas for indoor play on very hot and cold days. The outdoor area is completely fenced in and consists of artificial and natural grass as well as an in ground, full size, fiberglass pool for the dogs to swim and play in.The outdoor area is also equipped with agility and other play equipment.
Camp May offers a full day and half day camp for your dog. The campers will have both play and rest periods, as well as snacks or meal times. There will be certain requirements in order to participate such as personality grading, vaccines, age restrictions, etc.
Our Story
May Veterinary has served the pet community of Tuscaloosa and Northport, AL for over 50 years. We are passionate about what we do, and we take care of your pet as if they were part of our own family.
We are a family-owned practice, founded by Dr. A. Wayne May in 1964. Dr. May’s sons, Dr. Waller May and Dr. C. Guy May, joined their father in 1989 and 1991 respectively and have successfully managed the clinic since then.
Although we operate two locations, the May Veterinary team is one big family and we are proud to continually support our community. We offer pet adoptions at our two locations (May Veterinary Clinic North and May Veterinary Northridge), and our doctors frequently speak at local schools and volunteer their services at local animal shelters.
